I am a diehard Jaguars fan and support the new regime one hundred percent. However, I do have to admit that my perception of Gus Bradley was totally off. I thought he was going to be a fiery head coach in the vein of Mike Ditka, Jim Harbaugh, or Bill Cowher. It seems to me he is more like Mr. Rogers than any of these guys. I love his enthusiasm and optimism but I think he needs to avoid being anything like Jack Del Rio, who was known as a player's coach. When Andre Branch continued to fight after the whistle on a play which caused the Jags to lose getting the ball on a punt from the Bronco's and allowing the Bronco's to take a 14 point lead, Bradley merely talked to him and that was it. The next series, Branch was back on the field at his defensive end position. Maybe I'm old school but I would have sat his ass on the bench at least for a few series to let him think about how he dearly cost his team. I also thought that although Bradley was going to be undermanned in personnel, I thought for sure the Jaguars would at least be prepared. How do you let a fullback line up as a wide receiver on the first few plays of the game and not cover him. Didn't anyone on the sidelines see him? He was so wide open it looked like he was running the 40 at the combine. I still have faith that we will turn it around and maybe, like a player, the head coach has to learn his trade on the job. In closing, I would really like to see some fire from Bradley and maybe show a little urgency about the development of this team. I know it's going to be a slow process but I think he needs to raise the bar in what he expects from the current roster.
