Straight to the point... Should we go after Brandon Browner as a free agent.
He has an injury now and his backup has played well in his absence. The Seattle defense is not going to be able to keep all of these players. We know they are going to place Sherman as a high priority. He is a free agent after this season and really flourished under Gus Bradley's system.
He could come in and start across from Gratz. We can put Blackmon in the slot and use Ball as a second corner behind Gratz and Browner. He would add some experience to a young secondary and essentially will know the defense from day 1. The main caveat is we would be signing Browner, Blackmon, and Ball in this scenario. We are going to have to sign a lot of players this off-season though.
I know we have other more pressing needs, but its just a fit that makes sense in a lot of ways. We would be set at CB for a 3-5 seasons ideally. What do you guys think?
