I haven't ever done a fan post and the last time I commented I think i was being an ignorant high school kid.... We'll I'm so much smarter now... right.. Anyway here's the first mock I've ever done... give me some feedback, criticism, or other players to plug-in in some different places.
Round 1 (1)
So much debate around this pick... In the end I think he's the most ready, seems like a high floor player who I think will mesh well with the overall organization (I think Caldwell and Bradley will fall in love with his competitiveness)
Even if Jedd Fisch doesn't like him ;)
Round 2 (33)
TE- Austin Seferian-Jenkins
To put it bluntly, the offense is hard to watch... is tight end the biggest need we have? no.. but with Blackmon unable to stay on the field would ASJ be a huge weapon and a safety blanket for Bridgewater to grow with.
Round 3 (65)
He's flying under the radar to some aspect, however I believe his stock will rise he was injured earlier this year and was a force in the Georgia game.
Round 4 (98)
OG- Zach Fulton
3 year starter @ Tenn
Round 4 (111)
WR- Donte Moncrief
Dude could be a stud, and quite frankly I want to see some more height out on the edge. He has been productive with Bo Wallace throwing him the ball... enough said... I think Shorts would excel in the slot and would be deadly stretching the seam. *He could go higher than this, but I'm guessing we benefit from the depth at WR in this draft.*
Round 5 (129)
We obviously can't run the ball this year. He is a low mileage back who has split carries while at OU and has still been productive. I think Teddy, ASJ, and Moncrief along side Shorts, Brown, and hopefully Blackmon will keep them from crowding the box and our run game will improve.
Round 5 (143)
My homer pick.. I think he could play at LEO, he has similar size to Clemons in Seattle... pretty good athlete never really lived up to his potential at UF
Round 5 (153)
OG/C Jonotthan Harrison
Can play Center or Guard... Florida has been bad on offense but their running game has still been successful. They imposed their will running the ball at SC, even when SC knew what was coming.
Round 6 (162)
OLB- Christian Kirksey
Doesn't fill up the stat sheet at Iowa, but is a solid player.
Round 7 (193)
CB- Stanley Jean-Baptiste
This dude is HUGE 6'3'' 220 lbs and still learning the position he is a converted WR who could excel in Bradley's system... The one question I have is I'm not sure if he is fast enough....
