Jaguars vs. Titans 2013: Who's the biggest threat?

Scott Rovak-USA TODAY Sports

Heading into Sunday's matchup with the Tennessee Titans, who's the biggest threat for the Jaguars in the game?

The Jacksonville Jaguars don't really matchup well with any teams so far in the 2013 season, but the second half of the year sees them facing off against teams with a collective record under .500. Heading into Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, there's a few threats that the team will need to be mindful of.

While many will immediately say running back Chris Johnson because of his history and big play ability, I'm actually not that concerned with Johnson who's struggled the past few seasons to be that explosive player everyone labels him as. For me, one of the big concerns is going to be wide receiver Kendall Wright, especially if the Jaguars continue to struggle with tackling.

While Wright had a disappointing season as a rookie, through eight games he's almost matched his rookie season production. One of the ways he can hurt the Jaguars however, is the Titans have a tendency to run a lot of shallow crossing routes both in front of and behind the linebackers, which is an area the team has struggled.

Wright averages nearly seven yards after the catch per reception and over half of his receiving yards are after the catch. If the Jaguars continue to struggle with missed tackles and coverage from their linebacker group, Wright could have a very productive afternoon.
