2014 NFL Draft: Bowl prospects 12/26 (Little Caesars, Poinsettia)

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sport

Take a look at the top prospects playing in the bowl games on Thursday.

For many players, the bowl season is the final chance to show NFL scouts what they have on the field before months of interviews and workouts in shorts. For fans, it's the last chance to take a look at the prospects that will make up the majority of the 2014 NFL Draft.

On Thursday, there are two bowl game: The Little Caesars and Poinsettia Bowls. Here are the prospects that should be paid the most attention:

Little Caesars Bowl - Bowling Green vs. Pittsburgh, 6 p.m.

NIU Ken Bishop DT 6-1 308 7th-FA

** Draft-eligible sophomore

Pittsburgh Panthers defensive tackle Aaron Donald may have been the most explosive lineman in college football during the 2013 season, racking up 26.5 tackles for loss and 10 sacks despite lining up on the interior. However, at just 6'0, 285, Donald isn't prototypical NFL size.

Where he might fit best is in a defense like the one put in place by Gus Bradley, where Donald could still line up as a 4-3 defensive tackle but do so in a penetrating role. The Jaguars currently fill that 3-technique role with Sen'Derrick Marks, but Donald is the type of player that could be added in a rotational role with the hope that he develops into a Geno Atkins-type of NFL lineman.

Tall wide receiver Devin Street and center Tyler Larsen are two more players that will have their final collegiate game on Thursday and could fit potential needs for the Jaguars in the middle rounds of the 2014 NFL Draft.
