2014 key player, replacements 2.0 WR

While i was/am an avid justin blackmon supporter he has proven me wrong numerous times about getting his act together that why he is on the replacement list. Cecil Shorts is our only legitimate outside receiver as i feel brown and sanders should be relegated to the slot where they can dominate linebackers and nickel corners. Blackmon"s absence along with quarterback inadequacies have hampered our passing attack so an outside receiver to replace Blackmon and rekindle the passing attack, is needed for 2014 and these are guys I see as players who can accomplish such and round out our receiving core.

Mike Evans WR texas A&M

His game reminds me a lot of blackmon's in college he creates separation by bullying smaller corners rather than burning them down the field. He easily beats the press and most of his damage is done after the catch. Although its unlikely we get an opportunity to draft him he is an excellent possession receiver as was Blackmon.

Davante Adams WR Fresno ST.

Exceptional production great hands good size and speed. He reminds me of Andre Johnson and Dez Bryant. The long stride strong hands and the mean streak he exhibits after the catch. He has good focus and body control when the ball is placed back shoulder or in any tough spot. He could sneak into the 1st round but he would be a perfect replacement for blackmon.

Brandin Cooks Oregon ST

A smaller Cecil Shorts but faster with justin blackmons hands. He runs great routes and is a field stretcher. He is fairly lean but protects himself well and is an excellent weapon.

Brandon Coleman Rutgers

Excellent size at 6'6 220 he is a field stretcher and has reliable hands. He works in the slot and outside an is a mismatch all over the field. He has had a down year which can be contributed to some drops and the play of gary nova but he's still a great talent.

Devantae Parker Louisville

Only guy who's better at catching the ball in traffic than him would be mike evans and parker has more speed than evans. Parker insistently makes touches catches in traffic and is an excellent receiver with great hands and body control.

L'damian Washington Missouri

There aren't many 6'4 receivers coming out with 4.3 speed. Excellent hands catcher and a very able blocker one of more tenacious blockers in the draft.

Allen Robinson Penn State

He makes a lot of the spectacular catches and plays after the catch even though he's not a burner he reminds me a lot of keenan allen. Greta hands catcher and one of the more polished receivers coming out as far as route running and beating the press.

Mike Davis Texas

Similar to allen robinson he is very polished but he has a speed advantage. He's infamously known for his low block vs iowa st but he is still an excellent player with a mean streak.

Jordan Matthews Vanderbilt

He probably emulates a guy like wes welker he's always open. He is much bigger and faster than welker but he instinctively creates and finds separation from defenders. He catches effortlessly and there is no wasted movement in his route running.

Sammy watkins Clemson

The most explosive receiver with great size and hands. Easily the most explosive recover in the class his speed threatens defense and he's very difficult to contain with one player. One of the more prepared and better mismatches to me going into the nfl.
