Chris Canty has played the past four seasons for the New York Giants.
Free agent defensive lineman Chris Canty is lining up a visit with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Green Bay Packers after the NFL combine, according to a report by Mike Garafolo of USA Today.

The Jaguars don't plan to big players in free agency, at least in the terms of going after the high priced free agents, but a player like Chris Canty would make sense if the Jaguars are planning on a lot of turnover and want some veteran presence. Canty, 30, has spent the last four season with the New York Giants as a defensive tackle, but has also played defensive end in a 3-4 front with the Dallas Cowboys, who drafted him in 2005.
On the Jaguars defense, Canty would likely play at the five-technique position, which is a big strong side defensive end who's asked to stop the run and also provide a bit of pass rush opposite the LEO.
The date for Canty's visit has yet to be announced, but he has also visited with the Chiefs and Titans.
