Caldwell has stuck to his word. Young and hungry players on the cheap. Who else can we sign to continue filling out the roster and add depth before the draft? After signing Roy Miller, I think Alan Branch would have to agree to a lower salary than he would like to come here. Cornerback is pretty much dried up of young talent that fits in this teams defensive scheme. The draft will probably see two starters drafted there. Right tackle remains a need also. And while Vollmer and Smith remain viable options, I don't see Caldwell opening up the checkbook for either. We all heard Tyler Polumbus was due to come in and no word on him yet. I see the draft as the likely spot for a starter. Terron Armstead, Menalik Watson and Xavier Nixon come to mind. There's a deep group this year. Same for tight end. We need someone besides Lewis and failed to even show interest in any free agents for the position. The one guy I still think te Jaguars should go for is OLB Brad Jones, free agent of Green Bay. He's only 26, and has been a starter since 2009. Originally a seventh round draft pick, he would be much cheaper than resigning Daryl Smith and still is a hungry player with upside worth a two-three year contract. That would shore up one spot and allow Geno Hayes and Russel Allen to compete the weak side backer spot.
