I am taking my first shot this season for a mock draft/free agency. I know I will see lots of comments, critical and otherwise but lets do this: Free Agency RT:Jake Long (27) he is young and was a Pro Bowler not long ago. Injuries may be a concern but trust your medical staff or Andre Smith (26) young, powerful and already versed in the RT position. CB: Sean Smith (25) 6'3" 218 CB Outstanding upside and a perfect fit for the incoming Defense. Needs solid coaching S: Luxury pick: Dashon Goldson Solid safety, not prone to missing games. Free Agency can fill needs on our roster and help with immediate starters, no waiting. Draft Round 1: Hopefully trade out of this position but I think that may be impossible so, Barkevous Mingo (LSU)6'4" 241 LB, Solid player should be immediate starter for the defense. Round 2: I dont think he will be available: Xavier Rhodes (FSU) CB, 6'2" 210 Long Arms, good speed, needs coaching, monster upside. If not available: DJ Fluker (BAMA) or Terron Armstead (ARKPB). Competition for both Tackle positions, start best pair. Round 3: Zak Dysert (Miami of Ohio) QB, 6'3" 231 Huge upside,team player. or Tyler Wilson (ARK) Round 4: Barret Jones (BAMA) C, 6'4" 306. Versatile, technically sound, can play all positions. We need a replacement for Meester. If not avail:Brian Schwenke (CAL) Round 5: Sanders Cummings (UGA) CB, 6'0" 216. Solid player, good speed, needs coaching. Round 6: Cornelius Washington (UGA) DE, 6'4" 265. Needs coaching, more consistency but can have a huge upside. If not avail: William Gholston (MSU) 6'6" 281 Round 7: Kwame Geathers (UGA) DT, 6'5" 342. Lots of upside, must show consitancy, has an NFL Pedigree. Thanks for reading and all the incoming comments.
