The Jacksonville Jaguars will actually step on the football field on Tuesday, April 16 and begin voluntary veteran mini-camp. It will be the first time that new Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley will get to coach his players on the field, but it's going to be a bit of a different situation than last year.
This year, the Jaguars roster is a bit light, having just 58 players under contract. The Jaguars are able to carry much more than that to training camp, but for the veteran mini-camp the team will be allowed to bring in players on a try-outbasis. According to Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union, the team will bring in 19 players next week on a try-out basis.
The veteran mini-camp is not open to the public.
The team will practice Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
A list of the veteran try-out players has not yet been released, but when it is made available we will post it here.
