The Jacksonville Jaguars begin a three-day mini-camp on Tuesday and all healthy players are expected to be in attendance. The team will be without seven veterans however, who are all dealing with either injuries or rehab.
The team will obviously be without running back Maurice Jones-Drew, who's recovering from offseason surgery on his foot. Jones-Drew broke a bone in his foot early in the 2012 season and missed the remainder of the year. He is expected to be running again by June, however.
Offensive lineman Uche Nwaneri will also not be practicing, as he's recovering from offseason knee surgery. Nwaneri played through the 2012 season constantly battling injuries, which is likely what caused him to be more inconsistent than he normally is. The surgery was not major however and he is expected to be ready to go by the time training camp roles around.
The team will also be without Jordan Todman, Montell Owens, Matt Veldman, Jason Spitz and Jerrell Jackson.
