Despite the release of DT C.J. Moseley, the Jags don't seem to be pursing any replacements. At least, none that would seem as a good fit.
Seattle Seahawks FA DT Alan Branch was linked to Jacksonville on several occasions as the next FA DT to come through. The connection was easy to make as Branch was a guy who was familiar with Bradley's system. Even more so, Bradley was familiar with Branch and knew his strengths and weaknesses.
So much for that idea.
According to ESPN's NFL Insider Adam Schefter, Branch has just agreed to a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills. The deal is worth $3 million.
Tennessee Titans FA DT Sen'Derrick Marks is the latest FA DT to visit the Jags but he's not a guy many have heard of, both amongst the coaching staff and the fan base.
maybe the Jags have decided to draft a DT in the draft. If they do, it would likely happen in the middle rounds.
