Jaguars sign Sen'Derrick Marks

The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed free agent defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks on Tuesday, according to a team announcement on their official Twitter account.

The Jaguars released C.J. Mosley earlier on Monday and have a lack of depth at the position. Marks, 26, was originally drafted in the second round by the Tennessee Titans in the 2009 NFL Draft. Prior to the 2012 season, Marks was a rotational player and spot starter in his career. Marks started nine games in 2011 and 14 games in 2012.

At 6'2 and just under 300 pounds Marks will likely play in the three-technique role on the defensive line.

The Jaguars have also shown some interest in some defensive lineman in the 2013 NFL Draft such as Sharrif Floyd, who's expected to be a Top 10 pick, and in Sylvester Williams who's more of a late first or second round type of player.

Marks now joins Roy Miller as the other free agent defensive tackle that was acquired in the offseason.

Marks' deal is for one-year.
