Pre Draft Mock Draft

Round 1- Dion Jordan DE/OLB Oregon

It's as simple as that, all this Eric Fisher/ Luke Jockel stuff I have to believe is a smokescreen so that teams that want one of them are going to think about trading up since it's being widely reported that Fisher, Jockel and Lane Johnson won't even make it to Arizona Cardinals at pick 7.

Round 2- Phillip Thomas FS Fresno St

This is a guy that I haven't heard a lot about partly due to the fact that he played at Fresno St so he's not going to receive national attention like some guys but I like what I saw in him, He's got good size at 6-1 208 so he's a bigger safety we're looking for in that Bandit role, and he's a sure tackler and makes sure he loves to put the thump on people. Scouts are saying he isn't the fastest guy on the field but that's fine since we're gonna run the cover 3, he'll be in the box mostly

Round 3- Darius Slay CB Miss St

The reason I have Slay down in the 3rd round is the report that came out today saying he had torn some meniscus in his knee which in itself isn't a huge issue, but could scare some teams off due to the problems it COULD cause down the road. Jacksonville though is need of some CB's to play the position and Slay fit's into Bradley's mold of a bigger CB at 6'0 192

Round 4- Brennan Williams OT UNC

This is another guy that's going to slide a little bit due to an injury, missed his last 4 games as a senior with a torn labium, but still received honorable mention on the All ACC team his senior season. He's only played 22 games at RT which means that he needs some work on technical issues but I think they're all issues that can be resolved with the right coaching and a good off season

Round 5- Gerald Hodges OLB Penn St

We need depth all around our team including our LB corps which not long ago was a strength of this team, but not anymore. Hodges is a quick guy, converted from playing QB in high school but injuries at Penn St his freshman year man him change and he never looked back. His major problem though is, he's not very big only 6'1 243 and that will allow NFL lineman who get their hands on him to have their way.

Round 6- ?

Round 7-?
