Why the jaguars must be in play for another wide receiver this offseason.

Our division has seen a powerhouse change during free agency one of which is a threat to our growing wide receivers. Justin blackmon last year was our only receiver to play all 16 games which crippled his/gabbert/henne's production since defenses were able to key in on blackmon. While we have added some receivers I don't think this should stop us from drafting a wide receiver.Ed Reed, George Wilson, Bernard Pollard,& Laron Landry all very good safeties & very notorious hitters we are bound to have our receiving core's abilities to be overshadowed by aggressive defenses with these key players. So based on how aggressive these safeties are I believe it is an absolute need to draft more guys for the slot to open up outside plays for blackmon & cecil. Shipley & Momass have an injury history so I think drafting for the slot or getting a speedy udfa is plausible. My thinking is based off of the way our division rival the colts operate. T.Y. Hilton's deep threat ability helped keep safeties in the middle of the field & open up plays on the outside for donnie avery & reggie wayne. Justin Blackmon & Cecil Shorts are YAC guys & I think there a plethora of wide receivers who can help sustain/increase YAC this by holding the safety in the middle & ill explain guys we should target in the draft for this purpose. I'm not sold on where these guys will go in the draft but I feel that if a trade is acquired on of these guys should be our extra pick.

Marquise Goodwin WR Texas 5'9 183: 4.27 second 40 yard dash. He is an explosive athlete with great open field ability. He isn't exceptional at beating press coverage thats why I believe he will be relegated to the slot. He also can serve as a punt returner something we desperately need to kickstart our drives. He uses good head fakes on his routes & will continually hand fight down the field to get open his big speed really is a threat on every play.

Josh Boyce WR TCU 5'11 206: 4.38 40. His combination of quickness, speed, strength,& size will give safeties & linebackers fits. He has low center of gravity & a strong upper & lower body. He high points the ball shows good hands & runs decent routes he isn't a bad run blocker either & also has experience as a kick returner.

Ryan Swope WR Texas A&m 6'0 205: 4.34 40. He is a good guy that has had some injured but managed a pretty healthy season last year & started all games in 2010. He has soft hands, nimble feet, & his routes are exceptionally quick. He also has a good football iq on where to settle down in zones to help his qb.

Give me your thoughts on the article & guys we could use to fill this role.
