Bridgewater gets a lot of love and he certainly looks like a great player. I'm not grading QB's here or getting into the details, but one thing does bother me. He will not face a single ranked team this year until the bowl games. As of now, none of the teams on the the Louisville schedule are ranked.
So my question is.
Is he over hyped and gets great stats against bad teams?
Is he great and should not be knocked because he faces weaker competition.
You could argue both sides. Good SEC QB's often do not make great NFL QB's. Guys like Big Ben, Joe Flacco, and Tony Romo are successful and played for smaller schools in College. There are also numerous big school QB's who have success in the NFL. Does it matter, poll below
