Looking around at all the article, fanposts, and comments Tajh Boyd rarely ever comes up in discussions. Why is that? Am I missing something big? It seems to me personally, that if we pass on a QB with our 1st pick Boyd would be a tremendous value at the top of the 3rd. I get that at times he has shown questionable accuracy, but that being said don't all college QBs? He has all the tools: He is built to take hits and hop right up. he has a very strong arm and throws one of the best deep balls college foorball. He can make all the throws we could possibly ask for. He is athletic enough to improvise, get out of the pocket, and simply make plays. He could also run some read option and designed QB runs for us if that was a wrinkle we wanted to add to the offense. And ultimately, he puts points on the board (something that would be refreshing to see next year).
Then again, I could be totally mistaken.. .what are your thoughts?
