2014 NFL Draft: Record number of underclassman declare

Stephen Dunn

The 2014 NFL Draft saw over 90 underclassman declare, which shattered the record of underclassman to declare set last season.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have 10 picks in the upcoming 2014 NFL Draft. General manager Dave Caldwell will once again continue the rebuilding process and try to meet the success of his first draft with the team last season. The pool of talent in the 2014 NFL Draft will be a bit different than that of 2013, in that it will possess a record number of underclassman.

Last season 73 underclassman made themselves available for the NFL Draft. For the 2014 NFL Draft over 90 players have made themselves eligible, with the meat of that at the running back and wide receiver position, both positions the Jaguars could be due to upgrade and add to.
