Mock Draft 2.0 (No 1st round QB)

Mock Draft- no Bridgewater, no problem

1rd Pick) Jadeveon Clowney South Carolina or Anthony Barr UCLA
Really its a Best Available Pick, for the defensive side. With no Bridgewater left, we should focus on the defensive side of the ball. Lately the Jags defensive has been playing very well. Gus Bradley is a defensive coach, and likely he will try and build the Jags defensive up to what they used to be like back in 05’ and 06’. With a strong D-line and great coverage corners. Both have outstanding athletic ability, obvious it would be nice to see the Jags get Clowney as he is an elite pass rusher witch would be a huge help to our young defensive. But Barr can play the LEO position, which Gus Bradley has been looking for.

2rd Pick) Lamarcus Joyner CB FSU
We are in need of a great shut down corner as we allowed Andre Johnson to have 154 yards and Josh Gordon to have 260 yards receiving. He has really lead the FSU defense this year, and his ballhawking ability to read the QBs eyes are great, which allows him to cut the routes and get the picks.

3rd Pick) Dee Ford OLB Auburn
A great pass-rusher who tends to be mainly in a three-point stance, when watching him. Tough guy, good at cracking down on the RBs in the flats. Needs to work on his coverage a bit more. Size is also a worry.

3rd Pick) Tahj Boyd QB Clemson (Trade 4th rd and 5th rd pick for mid 3rd rd pick)
We still need a QB, he did have a very rough senior year, but he still is a good QB, who can make plays when needed. That is what the Jaguars need, a QB who can get first downs weather on a run or a pass. A lot of people compare him to Russell Wilson, well if that is true then he would be a steal.

4rd Pick) Jon Halapio OG Florida
Has seen lots of playing time since his first year in 09. Not a quick guard, but his power and awareness makes up for it. A very solid pass-blocker, needs to work on run-blocking and speed.

5rd Pick) Wesley Johnson OT Vandy
Concerned on size, but has great blocking form with a lower body control to move around fast and easy. Smart player who will pick up any unblocked man, also has been very good at blocking multiple defenders.

5rd Pick) Gabe Ikard C Oklahoma
Has been said he could be the most athletic linemen out of this years draft, a four-year starter for the Sooners. A very quick linemen, who explodes of the line. Weakness is his size and power.

6rd Pick) Storm Johnson RB UCF
After his performance in the Fiesta Bowl with 20 carries for 124 yards with 3 scores and declaring for the 2014 draft, his draft stock should go up at least one round.

7rd Pick) Tracy Moore WR OSU
Running a 4.56, not any Justin Blackmon, bit still a solid Receiver. He needs to work on his hands and focusing, but when he catches it he will make plays.
