The Jacksonville Jaguars currently hold the No. 3 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, but according to general manager Dave Caldwell they're willing to deal that pick if something comes along.
"I don't think where we're standing right now that we're dead set on going in any one direction, whether it's trading up, trading back, staying where we are and picking," Caldwell told ESPN's Mike DiRocco. "There's going to be a lot of options there with the third pick."
There's a handful of players the Jaguars could have available at the third overall pick, depending on what the Houston Texans do. Be it Teddy Bridgewater, Johnny Manziel, Jadeveon Clowney or the slew of other potential picks at that spot. It's also possible they trade down and add to their 10 pick total.
More interestingly however, Caldwell mentioned trading up isn't out of the realm of possibility as well.
"We feel good about being there if we have to pick, just like we did last year [when they had the No. 2 pick], and we feel good if an opportunity presents itself to trade up or trade back, too," Caldwell told DiRocco.
Ultimately, unless there's a great offer on the table, I feel like the Jaguars will stand pat with the No. 3 pick and pick what they feel is an elite prospect.
