Hurricane's 2015 Jaguars Mock Draft: 1.0

Hey y'all. It's still early, but seriously, am I the only one who wants to have fun tonight?

Things are bound to change from now til draft day, but this is only version #1.

Here's my first Jaguars Mock for 2015:

Round 1:

Shilique Calhoun: DE, Michigan State

The Jaguars don't necessarily need a LEO end with Chris Clemons, Andre Branch, Ryan Davis, and Chris Smith on the roster, but the good teams have depth, and with Branch being in his third year on the team, I question whether or not he's going to be resigned. Plus, Chris Clemons is getting older, and Chris Smith hasn't shown much. We'll see what Smith can do in his time filling in for the injured Branch.

Round 2:

Benardrick McKinney: MLB, Mississippi State

I would like to continue to add to our offense and add more pieces around Blake Bortles, but it's clear that the defense needs some help. We may have a formidable front four for right now, but we need to maintain that. That's the reason for the Calhoun pick. Now, with this pick, we find Poz's replacement, whether or not he is back next year. McKinney has some of the same issues Poz has in coverage, but he is versatile and is likely to in the 4.5 40 range. That's good speed for a MLB. He needs refinement, but that's why we have Gus.

Round 3:

Cody Prewitt: FS, Ole Miss

A FS that has good hands for the interception, good center fielder, and times his leaps well to make the interception. Also times his collisions well with vulnerable WRs who cross the middle of the field. Seems to be a good fit for the defense. Good but not great top end speed.

Round 4:

Tyler Kroft: TE, Rutgers

Round 5:

Vince Mayle: WR, Washington State

Round 6:

Miles Dieffenbach: OG, Penn State

Round 7:

Brandon Bridge: QB, South Alabama

What do y'all think?
