Super Bowl 48: Channel, streaming, time, odds, halftime show and more

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The 2014 Super Bowl will take place on Sunday at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey as the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos face off to conclude the 2013 NFL season.

The 2014 Super Bowl is just a little over 24 hours away as the Seattle Seahawks face off against the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium. The Seahawks are looking to win the first ever championship while the Broncos and Peyton Manning look to add another ring to their finger.

If Manning can win, it should cement his legacy as one of the best players to ever play quarterback in the history of the NFL and will give the Broncos their third ever Super Bowl victory. The Broncos won back-to-back Super Bowls in the late 90's, when now general manager John Elway was the starting quarterback.

The Broncos got to the Super Bowl by winning the AFC West and marching right through the playoffs, beating the San Diego Chargers and the New England Patriots, both at home. The Broncos were expected to be in the big game, entering the playoffs as the AFC's No. 1 seed.

The Seahawks were also the No. 1 seed in the NFC and is the first time in recent memory that both No. 1 seeds have made it to the Super Bowl. Like the Broncos, the Seahawks had home field advantage through the playoffs after winning the NFC West and tied with the Broncos for the best record in the NFL at 13-3. To get to the Super Bowl the Seahawks took out the New Orleans Saints and had a dog fight against division rival the San Francisco 49ers.

Kickoff is scheduled around 6:25 p.m. EST and it's one of the more evenly matched Super Bowls in quite some time. Personally, I think the Seahawks are going to walk away winners. I think their defense is going to frustrate the hell out of Manning and I don't trust the Broncos defense.
