Daniel Jeremiah NFL mock draft: Johnny Manziel to Jaguars?

Johnny can visit Mickey whenever he wants if he's drafted by Jacksonville - Handout

In his latest mock draft, NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah has the Jaguars taking a home run swing on Johnny Football.

We've seen with our NFL mock draft database that picks for the Jaguars are centered around five or six different players, but in NFL Network Daniel Jeremiah's latest mock draft he has the Jaguars going for a real home run swing.

Johnny Football.

No. 3 - Jacksonville Jaguars: Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M

The Jaguars could take a pass rusher or WR Sammy Watkins, but Manziel's playmaking ability would provide a much-needed spark for their offense.

Thankfully Jeremiah didn't use the tired "sell tickets" angle, which most have used when slotting Manziel to the Jaguars with the No. 3 overall pick. When the Jaguars make the selection, Jadeveon Clowney is off the board but Teddy Bridgewater and Blake Bortles are both available.

I've mentioned before I'm a fan of Manziel, even though he scares me a bit with the No. 3 overall pick, but I think he will be a successful NFL quarterback. Our own Hank Jones profiled Manziel and graded him out as a first round pick.
