JaguarsAndMagpies' Mock Draft 2.0: Bridgewater to Dallas?

It's mock draft time again! Well, from the free agency period slowing down to a halt, it's a perfect time to try to see and predict where these big college stars will go out to play their NFL career, for better or worse (I'm looking at you Blaine Gabbert). All of these pro days have been happening around from UCF, Louisville, Fresno State, San Jose State, and Alabama, just to name a few. We are still waiting for pro days from Texas A&M and South Carolina, because they have prospects the Jaguars would definitely be looking at. Now, what has been the trend recently is the stock of Teddy Bridgewater plummeting and Blake Bortles' stock skyrocketing. Now, I watched SportsNation on Friday, where Teddy appeared on the show saying his game tape should prove why he's worth being taking as the first QB in the NFL Draft. Well my friends, I'm going to have to doubt him there, unfortunately.

1. TEXANS – QB BLAKE BORTLES (UCF)

2. RAMS (FROM REDSKINS) – OT GREG ROBINSON (AUBURN)

3. JAGUARS – DE JADEVEON CLOWNEY (SOUTH CAROLINA)

8. VIKINGS – QB JOHNNY MANZIEL (TEXAS A&M)

9. BILLS – OT JAKE MATTHEWS (TEXAS A&M)

10. LIONS – CB JUSTIN GILBERT (OKLAHOMA STATE)

11. TITANS – OLB/DE ANTHONY BARR (UCLA)

12. GIANTS – OT TAYLOR LEWAN (MICHIGAN)

13. RAMS – WR MIKE EVANS (TEXAS A&M)

14. BEARS – DT TIMMY JERNIGAN (FLORIDA STATE)

15. STEELERS – OT ZACH MARTIN (NORTE DAME)

16. RAVENS – WR MARQUISE LEE (USC)

17. COWBOYS – QB TEDDY BRIDGEWATER (LOUISVILLE)

18. JETS – TE ERIC EBRON (NORTH CAROLINA)

19. DOLPHINS – OG XAVIER SU'A-FILO (UCLA)

20. CARDINALS – LB C.J. MOSLEY (ALABAMA)

21. PACKERS – S HA HA CLINTON-DIX (ALABAMA)

22. EAGLES – S CALVIN PRYOR (LOUISVILLE)

23. CHIEFS – WR ODELL BECKHAM JR. (LSU)

24. BENGALS – CB JASON VERRETT (TCU)

25. CHARGERS – DT AARON DONALD (PITTSBURGH)

26. BROWNS (FROM COLTS) – LB RYAN SHAZIER (OHIO STATE)

27. SAINTS – DT LOUIS NIX III (NORTE DAME)

28. PANTHERS – WR KELVIN BENJAMIN (FLORIDA STATE)

29. PATRIOTS – DT RASHEDE HAGEMAN (MINNESOTA)

30. 49ERS – CB KYLE FULLER (VIRGINIA TECH)

31. BRONCOS – CB BRADLEY ROBY (OHIO STATE)

32. SEAHAWKS – CB MARCUS ROBERSON (FLORIDA)

Surprise! Teddy goes to Jerry's World. I know what you're thinking, that's stupid. I think it's stupid too, but when I look into what teams do these times is looking at the players way too much. Teddy's problems would be "Oh, he's 6'2" and 211 lbs." or "He can't throw without gloves" and all that nonsense. If Teddy does survive this long in the draft, I also look for teams to try to trade up to teams that might like the extra picks from the Rams, Steelers, Ravens to teams like the Jets or the Browns that might look at Teddy. I know the Jaguars are aching for a quarterback, believe me I am, but I think a Jimmy Garoppolo or Zach Mettenberger would also fit the Jaguars QB need for the future. Also, Jadeveon Clowney is the best prospect in the class, hands down, and I believe if the Jags are in this scenario where Clowney is available at #3, the Jags will pick the best available player in the draft a second year in a row.

What do you think? Leave your thoughts and comments below, I know a lot of you will disagree about Teddy so fire away!
