The Jaguars 2014 schedule does not get announced until this evening, but we already know all of their opponents.
In 2014, the Jaguars will play the NFC East, AFC North as well as their home and home series with the three other AFC South teams and the San Diego Chargers and Miami Dolphins. Based on the final records of all these opponents in 2013, the Jaguars have one of the easiest strengths of schedule in the NFL in 2014.
In fact the four AFC South teams have the four easiest schedules in 2014 based on 2013 records, which may be a knock on how poor the division was last season. Not only was the AFC South down in 2013, but the two divisions the Jaguars are matched up with in 2014, the NFC East and AFC North, also suffered from down seasons in which only one team from each division made the playoffs.
The Jaguars were able to win four games last year against one of the toughest schedules in the NFL, so with an improved roster and easier schedule it isn't ridiculous to expect an improvement in the win column in 2014.
