I hope they package up a few more picks and grab Jackson jeffcoat de from Texas. His 4.6 speed could be a great Leo or end fit in the scheme. The guy has a heck of a motor when I've watched him play. More importantly he plays with some swagger and was a team leader. His emotion on the field is off the charts which the jags need on defense. The only guy right now that plays with emotion on his defense that plays that way is Poz. Speaking of lb, Christian Jones olb from fsu is still out there, too. He was projected as a late first to second round guy mid season. His senior year wasn't spectacular but it was solid. He was a 3 year starter on one of the best defenses in the nation. He went though multiple schemes and fit them all. The size and speed combo would be welcome on a jags lb core lacking speed, size, and depth. LB needs to be addressed especially since one starts from last year had to unexpectedly retire and another becomes a free agent after the season in Hayes. Jones easily has starting potential on this team from day one. With two 5th round picks it could be easy for the jags to trade back up in the 4th round to grab both of these guys. If the jaguars can come away with 6 guys that could all be starting by the end of the season...a playoff run in 2015 seems more likely to happen than just a possibility. The playoff run of course depends on Bortles more than anyone else but he'd certainly have the supporting cast in place.
On another note, One guy the jags might be tempted to take is jones' teammate Telvin Smith lb from fsu. Telvin Smith looks the part and might be the fastest lb in the draft. However, he overruns more plays than he makes. He also doesn't tackle as well as you want from a starter in the nfl. I see smith as a poor mans justin durant if that's any indication. Choosing smith with any pick other than as any drafted fa would be a mistake.
