At First, I was very upset about the pick of Blake Bortles. I think it was mostly shock. I was so anxious to get "johnny jaguar". But after about 20 minutes, I found myself defending the pick on twitter against the Jag Haters without even realizing it. I decided to go back and look at his game film, and scouting reports, and I love the guy, though I still have questions about his arm. What Caldwell plans to do makes a lot of sense. He went out and got some weapons and more protection for Bortles as well. I think theres a HUGE chance Bortles can start Week 1, if not by week 5-7. I think he should get a majority of the First Team Reps, as well as play 3 Quarters of every preseason game. When the Regular Season start, put him in before half times, and if we're getting blown out, or if we're ahead by a lot, put him in. I highly doubt Caldwell would let the 3rd Overall get zero playing time during the season.

Caldwell has done every thing in his power to make Bortles more comfortable here. He drafted his friend Marqise Lee, and got his buddy Storm Johnson from UCF. Caldwell seems to get lucky in the 2nd Round. We got our best player on Defense Last year in the 2nd round, and got 2 potential Pro Bowlers this year. Some Experts ranked Allen Robinson above Kelvin Benjamin, since his vertical was higher, he's faster, and has softer hands. Just not 6'5. Overall Im excited about next season.

This offseason in the AFC South has been odd. I believe the Jags won free agency, the Texans won the draft, and the Colts and Titans failed on both.
