I'll start this off by saying that I love the draft DC put together. However, expecting all our top picks to succeed is highly unrealistic. I'm asking who you guys think is the most likely to be a complete wash, out of our top 3 picks. I would say top 3 rounds, but I think the answer would always be Linder. My personal choice is Marqise Lee. He doesn't posses any astounding measurements. He is just a hair under 6' , ran an average 4.52 40 time(when combined with his height/weight), and had a high drop percentage this last year. I don't want this to be misconstrued as me not liking the Lee pick. I was actually really happy when we picked him up. But.... If I'm going to try and objectively pick out a bust candidate, he would be my guy. I didn't choose Bortles here because of him being allowed the opportunity to sit. I've always been a fan of letting a rookie QB sit. It worked out well for Brady, Brees, E.Manning and Rodgers. None of these four started from day 1. This is not to say sitting a rookie QB is fool proof, because it's not.
I also want to know who you guys think is the most likely to surprise. This is for the picks from Linder and after. Mine is Telvin Smith. I love the film on this guy. He kind of reminds me of LaVonte David in a few ways. Fast and undersized but seems to always be in the right spot. The funny thing is David was considered undersized at 228(IIRC), a whole 10 lbs larger than Smith. Let me know what you guys think in the comments, thanks!
