The Jaguars have invited 27 players to participate in the team's rookie mini camp in addition to nine players selected in the 2014 NFL Draft and 17 players signed as undrafted free agents. Along with the announcement of 27 tryout players, the Jaguars also announced the release of second-year quarterback Matt Scott who is now subject to waivers.
On the list of players joining the Jaguars rookie mini-camp are three players with NFL experience: offensive lineman Antoine Caldwell, wide receiver Greg Childs and defensive tackle Brian Price. Here is the full list of players participating in the rookie mini camp on a trial basis:

Price was a second round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft and started 14 games for the Buccaneers in 2011, but was traded to the Bears before the 2012 season. He made stops with the Vikings and Cowboys, but never played another NFL game and most recently played for the L.A. Kiss of the Arena Football League.
Caldwell was a third round pick of the Houston Texans in the 2009 NFL Draft and started 19 games for the team in four years. Childs was a fourth round pick of the Minnesota Vikings in the 2012 NFL Draft, but never played for the team after suffering patella tendon tears in both knees as a rookie in training camp.
The two-day minicamp for the Jaguars is scheduled to begin on Friday, May 16 and continue through Saturday, May 17.
