In the 50 days leading up to the preseason opener against the Buccaneers, we're counting down the 50 best plays of 2013.
Yesterday at No. 46 was Chris Prosinski defending a Hail Mary and securing a win against the Browns in Cleveland. Who's today at No. 45?
Ace Sanders' 30-yard reception in a crowded Raiders secondary.
Late in the fourth quarter, with the Jaguars down by two possessions, Chad Henne was leading one of only a few drives that got close to Raiders' territory. After a fumbled snap, it was 3rd-and-21, and it looked like Jacksonville wouldn't cross midfield once again.
And then Ace Sanders happened.
Feeling pressure from his left, Henne stepped up into the pocket and threw it up for grabs to Sanders, the shortest member of the Jaguars.
It was a great pass by Henne, who dropped it perfectly between four Raiders defenders, and a courageous catch by Sanders, who had to make the catch with his back to three of those four defenders.
Should Sanders' catch be on the list? Let us know in the comment below!
