The Jacksonville Jaguars ruled out several players for Friday night's game against the Detroit Lions, including running back Toby Gerhart and wide receiver Marqise Lee.
According to John Oehser, 12 players were ruled out on Wednesday morning: Toby Gerhart, Marqise Lee, Greg Jenkins, Peyton Thompson, Demetrius McCray, Johnathan Cyprien, Rashaad Reynolds, Dante Fowler, Josh Wells, Julius Thomas, Neal Sterling, and Sen'Derrick Marks.

There are few surprises outside of McCray and Gerhart (as we already knew Lee and Thomas would be gone until the regular season opener) but Reynolds' absence is disappointing. He was a player I thought could catch on as the No. 5 cornerback and he still might, depending on how rookie Nick Marshall does.
The Jaguars and Lions kick off at 7:30pm on Friday night.
