Jaguars defensive end Andre Branch will receive an MRI after injuring his left knee against the Lions on Friday night.
Branch went down somewhat early in the Jaguars 22-17 loss to the Lions. After the game, Branch was wandering around the locker room with crutches. He refused to comment on his injury to the media.
Gus Bradley spoke briefly about Andre's injury: "Andre Branch we will get an MRI on his knee. We've got our fingers crossed on that one. I think we'll see with that. I know he was walking around a little bit in the training room."
When asked if he has a plan in place in case Branch is out for a while, Gus Bradley responded by saying he'd have to get creative.
The Jaguars' pass rush relies heavily on a rotation of LEOs. The injury to Andre Branch will be one to keep a close eye on.
Update: Looks like Branch will be out for a while.
Branch sprained MCL -- "significant time," out.
