The Jacksonville Jaguars are reportedly talking with former San Francisco 49ers head coach Chip Kelly to be their next offensive coordinator, as first reported by Hays Carlyon of GridironNews.com.

Kelly has been a polarizing figure for most of his coaching career. He was most recently the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers where he went 2-14 last year, but he was fired after one season on the job alongside general manager Trent Baalke. Before that he was the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles for three years, amassing 27 wins and an NFC East division title while running as fast a tempo offense as the NFL would allow.
Now he’s being mentioned as the offensive coordinator of a team with a question mark at quarterback, a lackluster running game, an offensive line that needs repair, and an underperforming group of receivers and tight ends — at least the ones not named Marqise Lee.
What do you think? Would Kelly be a good hire by the Jaguars? Do you want him as our offensive coordinator? Or would he mismanage a side of the ball that desperately needs vision and guidance?
