The Jacksonville Jaguars are thin at wide receiver and as they make their playoff push they thought they could upgrade with recently released Cleveland Browns wide receiver Kenny Britt. The team made an offer, but Britt chose the New England Patriots for, among other things probably, the chance to win a title and play with Tom Brady.
Kenny Britt chose the Patriots over offers from the Chiefs and Jaguars. Pats are loading up Britt’s plate to see how much of the playbook he can retain and if he can play Sunday at Pittsburgh

Britt was signed in the 2017 offseason to a four-year, $32.5 million contract with $17 million in guaranteed money but contributed on the field very little. In nine games (and four starts), Britt caught only 18 passes on 37 targets for 233 yards and two touchdowns.
This likely all boils down to how the team feels about Allen Hurns at this point — he’s likely not even close if the team is willing to chase a guy like Britt.
