The Jacksonville Jaguars are about to trek on a two-game road trip before returning home to EverBank Field, and the next two games could set the rest of the season in motion.
With the Jacksonville Jaguars coming off their bye week with a 1-4 record, they hit the road and make a west coast trip to take on the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. The Raiders are a team the Jaguars should have a chance to beat and match up favorably with, but they're also a team who can blow the Jaguars out if things get away from them.
And that has been to story of the Jaguars so far in the 2012 season. The bye week sits at a team where the Jaguars can kind of define how the rest of their season is going to, so to speak.
After the Raiders on Sunday, the team will travel to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers, a game most people surely expect the Jaguars to get destroyed in right now, especially given how the Packers dismantled the Houston Texans last week.
If the Jaguars can't come back east on Sunday with a win, their season is in danger of spiraling completely out of control. Sunday can stop the bleeding, as the bye week offers a chance for the team to reset.
We'll find out a lot about the Jaguars in the next two weeks.
For better or worse.
