Mojo not expected at OTA's
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/05/14/maurice-jones-drew-not-expected-at-jaguars-otas/
According to Pro Football Talk, Jaguars Running Back Maurice Jones Drew is not expected to join in the voluntary OTA's coming up this week. But this comes to no surprise. He was the NFL's leading rusher last year and was the heart and soul of the Jaguars offense. The problem I think is going on is that he feels he should be paid like a top-5 Running Back, which he is! Seeing medicore RBs like Deangelo Williams and Chris Johnson getting paid big and not producing has had Jones-Drew thinking about the money he is making. He is set to make around 4.5 million this year, which is low compared to the other two running backs.
My solution to the matter. PAY THE MAN THE MONEY!
Gabbert's '11 Season not as bad as we thought...
I've been a reader here at BCC for years, but never actually posted anything. During a sleepless night the other day I decided to play around with an NFL QB rating calculator. After playing around for a few minutes, i came to a conclusion. Blaine Gabbert's 2011 could have an entirely different outlook, if just a few small things went his way.

Bold City Brigade Members Event
If you have been keeping an eye on the social media chatter since the Jaguars Draft Party, you've probably seen a few people posting about the Bold City Brigade. The group has made a formal announcement of their first "members meeting" and, in my opinion, couldn't have picked a better location to host the event than Intuition Ale Works. The event will be Thursday, May 31, and begins at 6:30 PM. Read more about the Bold City Brigade after the jump.

USFL my ideas
Could thhe USFL be the best thing for the NFL I beleive a 8 team league with teams being stocked by 4 nfl teams. The players would be rookies, 1st and 2nd year players udfa's and out of work veterans. Ref's would be young up and coming who the nfl could call up at any time to help a aging group. Rule changes could be tried and see if and how they change the game. I beleive that this could and would help the NFL.

Yes there is no LS Jeremy Cain because I don't believe in wasting a spot for someone who doesn't play every down or isn't good enough to play every snap. He's officially listed as a LB and I have never seen him tackle a single person. So sorry Cain no place for you here. Same goes for Montell Owens yes he was a pro bowler but only because the guy ahead of him was in the Super Bowl and he is a Special Teams "ace" not a very good RB another waste of a spot when Banyard is just as good if not better on special teams and can run the ball a lot better.
Uche gets a Top 5 performance at profootballfocus
pff rates best performance by each position. in this installment, they rate Uche's week 10 game against the colts as the third best performance in 2011 by a right guard
http://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2012/05/12/2011s-best-performances-guards/
what's with that comment, though? if were that easy to have a great game against the colts, wouldn't they logically be the opponent for all five top rated performances?
interesting to note elsewhere that both of Lewis' top ten blocking games were against the colts, too.

Vito Stellino: Porn Afficianado
So, it seems that the Jacksonville Jaguars' oldest and best looking beat writer, Mr. Vito Stellino sent out a salacious tweet to his over 4,000 followers. While promising to take followers to a site about minor league football, Vito's link instead lead straight to a pornographic page called X Hamster! Vito has since deleted the tweet, but it was up there for over 40 minutes, and retweeted many times. I know Vito is a neophyte with social media trends, but the fact that he was able to tweet this website means at some point he had to "cut and paste" the address. Shame on you, Vito, you old dog!!! Let me guess...you were HACKED!
