The Jacksonville Jaguars placed linebacker Clint Session and defensive end John Chick on the physically unable to perform list (PUP) prior to the Jaguars opening up training camp. Session was still suffering from concussion-like symptoms and has yet to even be out on the practice field watching. There are even some concerns he may never play football again, which is probably best for his long-term health.

Chick on the other hand is still recovering from a patella injury he suffered during the 2011 NFL season that landed him on injured reserve. Chick has been on the sidelines doing individual drills and such on his road to recovery and could be back at practice soon if he' progressing well.

With the players placed on the PUP list, they can return to practice after Week 6 of the season if they are healthy enough. The Jaguars then have up to three weeks to evaluate the players and decide whether or not to activate them to the active roster or move them to injured reserve.
