Phil Sears-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Jaguars wide receiver Laurent Robinson suffered a concussion against the Cincinnati Bengals and nearly two weeks later still hasn't passed his concussion test.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have been without free-agent wide receiver Laurent Robinson since mid-way through their loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in September. Robinson missed the full week of practice and the game against the Chicago Bears, and as of Monday had not passed his concussion test.

"Laurent (Robinson) did not pass the concussion test this morning, so we will retest him again tomorrow," Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey told reporters on Monday in a press conference. "Just trying to calm him down and keep him inside of the building and out of the sunlight. We’re trying to do all of the things we have to do to get him back."

"Not yet," Mularkey responded when asked if Robinson had been ruled out of Sunday's game.

I personally do not think Robinson will be ready to go on Sunday against the Oakland Raiders, especially since he's spent nearly two full weeks in the program and still hasn't passed his baseline test.

If Robinson can't go, Cecil Shorts III will start in his place.
