The oft-injured cornerback has been ruled out for the second half against the Titans.

After yet another season that has seen many injuries for Jaguars cornerback Derek Cox, he is out of the lineup again with a leg injury, the team announced.

Cox left the game in the latter minutes of the second quarter with an undisclosed injury and finished the quarter working on the sideline exercise bike. After halftime, the Jaguars ruled him out for the remainder of the game, although the exact injury was not revealed.

Rashean Mathis and Mike Harris were the starting cornerbacks at the beginning of the second half, although nothing was said about the status of Aaron Ross, the starter of the game opposite Cox. Also rotating in at cornerback for the Jaguars has been Kevin Rutland.

Cox has started eight of the first 11 games of the season for the Jaguars, and leads the team with three interceptions. In four seasons with the Jaguars, Cox has recorded 11 interceptions.
