The Jacksonville Jaguars are placing left guard Michael Brewster on injured reserve.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will be placing rookie guard Michael Brewster on injured reserve with a broken hand, the team announced on Tuesday morning. Brewster broke his hand against the Buffalo Bills initially, but finished out the game. Brewster put a cast on his hand, but sat out Sunday's loss to the New York Jets with Eben Britton starting in his place.

Brewster was originally signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by the Jaguars in the offseason, where Brewster played his way onto the final roster. Brewster took over the starting left guard job mid-season and started seven games on the season in total.

With Brewster now on injured reserve, it looks as though Britton will start the rest of the way at left guard. Britton has struggled at the left guard position this season.

To fill Brewster's roster spot, the Jaguars have re-signed running back Keith Toston, who's bounced on and off the roster all season long.
