Guy Whimper now has more touchdown receptions as a member of the Jaguars than Justin Blackmon and Laurent Robinson, of course.
While the Jaguars trail at halftime, they have certainly looked like the better team through two quarters at Lambeau Field. The Jaguars have 233 yards of total offense and have held the Packers to just 91, while possessing the ball for nearly five minutes more than the Packers.
However, the Packers earned a 14-3 lead after a punt from Bryan Anger was blocked and recovered in the end zone by Dezman Moses. The Jaguars cut into the lead with a 22-yard field goal from Josh Scobee after a drive that made it to the red zone stalled. They earned an even bigger chunk of the score back after Andre Branch sacked Aaron Rodgers and forced a fumble with less than a minute left in the first half.
With the field position, Blaine Gabbert and the Jaguars took advantage as Michael Spurlock caught a pass that got the Jaguars on the door step before Gabbert found Guy Whimper in the end zone for a touchdown.
The Jaguars were unable to convert a pass attempt to Justin Blackmon for a two-point conversion that would have tied the game and instead trail at the half, 14-12.
