Giants fall to Jaguars!
Yup, you've heard it by now. Jacksonville pulled out a big time Win on monday night.
It cost us our "headhunter" in Donovan Darius with a broken foot, but everyone else did allright.
David G passed the ball, The Receivers diddn't drop it QUITE as many times, and the running game was stout (165 yards, 2 tds, one each for MJD and Freddy T)
Credit where Credit is due time: I saw something in Garrard that I've never seen. Progressions. He looked at his number one, his number two, and his dump off receivers.
If he keeps it up, he'll be a good qb.

No Game Today: Open Thread
EDIT: Thanks to Playoff Pride for the clarification.
The Ravens, according to CBS Would trade for Leftwich, but not for Kyle B.
I'm curious what the Ravens would offer, first round pick? Players?
I'll throw this question to the crowd, what do you think Byron is worth to another team?

Stay Classy Everyone
Ok, ok...this is a complete NON-Story. And instead of getting on some sort of soap box and ripping a punter apart, I'm gonna be the bigger man, respect the 24 hour rule, and instead let you, the reader, decide what you think.
After the Game on Sunday, Potential First Ballot Hall of Fame Punter Hunter Smith decided to respect the rules about kickers not running their mouths (The Vanderjagt rule) and had this to say about Jacksonville...
Har Har Har.
I could say something like, "You know what else lacks material? The Colts Run Game", or perhaps even; "Knock Knock", "Who's There", "Hunter Smith", "Who the hell is that?". Also, I could comment on his 33 yard punt late in the game that let the Jags try and score from decent field posistion.
But i'm a bigger man than that, it's just a punter, and a non-story.
I was hoping to do a Media-Wrapup and a Power Rankings compliation this morning, but sadly the pundit-o-cracy slept in and I'm without things to criticize and complain about. SO instead, I'm gonna go get ready to interview Hogs Haven and a secret surprise interview (Hint, She's hot)

Losers Lament
I've not seen a team work so hard and still lose.
Almost two hundred yards on the ground and we still lost...
Special Teams was both brilliant and terrible at the same time...
I've a lot to say on this game, stay tuned...
(Maurice Jones-Drew, you can sleep well tonight, you did all you could!)

Crash the Steeler Party
From Robb at Jagnation
Word has it that NFL films is doing a documentary on how well Steeler fans
travel and they will be filming at Calico Jacks on Baymeadows at 1:30pm Sunday
(today).
Anyone else up for some party crashing?
We need everyone we can find to deck out in Teal and show up in front of the
Jacksonville Steeler Club and NFL Films.
Listing is on JagNation.com and Jaguars.com Message Boards.
Need some people to get there EARLY as well. EVERY PERSON COUNTS.
I'll be there sporting a tealhawk (teal mohawk) and look forward to meeting you.
Robb Chamberlain

-If you're in Jax and read this, Crash the party. Let's show that we're all the fans that we can be!

Injury Updates
For the record, Grizz at Blogging the Boys is on top of his game.
Florida Time Union reports that Stroud was on crutches during Thursday's practice and "seemed to be grimacing with each step". Rob Meier will take his spot of Stroud misses the game. Rob's a pretty capable DT himself.
What makes this critical is that behind Stroud and Henderson is Mike Peterson who is still questionable for the game. Losing Stroud and Peterson makes running up the middle a bit more attractive for Dallas. It also reduces the pressure we can put on Bledsoe. While not game changing per se, this is something to keep a close eye on.
In other news, Keep an eye out for my Defensive Breakdown of the Jags. I'll have it out later tonight.
