In what can only be described as a terrible way to go to Hawaii, Fred Taylor will in fact be in this year's Pro Bowl.

Willie Parker broke his fibula against the Rams tonight, which should mean that he stays home for the Pro Bowl.  Fred, as the first alternate, joins Greg Jones, who's also going to the Pro Bowl as an alternate due to a leg injury.

It seems pretty weird that all of a sudden big name athletes are breaking their Fibula.  Jeremy Shockey and now Willie Parker, that's a rough deal.  Especially for the Steelers who have somewhat degraded over the last few weeks.  They even had to survive a shootout with the Rams.

But, that aside, Fred will make his trip to Hawaii.
