Thomas also will receive the minimum salaries of $310,000, $385,000, $480,000 and $565,000. Thomas was drafted in the fourth round by the Jaguars. The other player that was previously signed was sixth-round pick Zach Miller, a quarterback being converted to tight end. Thomas, who played at Arizona, is noted for his speed. He ran a 4.29 40-yard dash at the combine. "He’s eager to get started and be the guy in the slot and to be a return guy for them,’’ his agent, Ronald Slavin, said.
