The Jaguars have signed offensive tackle Tony Pashos formally of the Baltimore Ravens this morning, pending a physical. Pashos is entering his 5th season in the NFL coming off starting the past 23 games for the Ravens at right tackle. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
Color me surprised. This guy wasn't on my radar.
Tough, smart lineman who excels in run-blocking...Saw action in all 16 games, starting 7 (1st starts of his career) at right tackle, taking over for an injured Orlando Brown in 2005...Helped protect Ravens QBs, allowing them to complete 59.6% of their passes, a Ravens' franchise record...The 335 completions were just 3 shy of another franchise mark...Also helped pave the way for the Ravens to rush for 1,605 yards, averaging 3.6 yards per carry...Gained valuable experience in 2004, seeing action in 6 games...Missed his rookie season when he was placed on IR (8/25/03) due to a hand injury...Allocated to Cologne Centurions of NFLEL during the 2003 offseason.
Also, TE Kyle Brady is hitting the road, going to New England, Denver and Oakland!
