The Jacksonville Jaguars are continuing their quest to get all their picks under contract prior to Training Camp. Today they inked Jarrett Dillard to a contract, which was finalized this afternoon. Dillard represents the youth and possibility of the Jaguars' WR corps, and much is expected of the rookie wide-outs that were picked. Dillard is seen as a good route runner who can develop into a solid possession receiver. He lacks the deep speed some of his fellow draft selections have, but the coaching staff has high hopes for the 5th round pick.
Dillard is the third pass catcher to sign, with Mike Thomas and Zach Miller being the other two draftees already under contract. The Jaguars still have six picks to get under contract before August 2nd, the opening date of training camp.

UPDATE: PFT reports that Dillard's four-year deal includes a $192,300 signing bonus as well as a fourth-year escalator clause worth $1.308 million, according to a league source. The total maximum value of the deal is $2.685 million.
