It was a relatively light slate for the Jaguars scouts this week. Chris Steuber reports the Jaguars will be at the North Carolina St/Boston College game today. Also, Jaguar scouts were spotted at the UConn/Rutgers game last night.
For Boston College, there are a few guys worth looking at. LB Mark Herzlich screams Gene Smith guy. Diagnosed with cancer last year, he went from fighting for his life to once again being one of the top defenders in the country. OT Anthony Castonzo is another player to look at. He's probably the best offensive line prospect this year. Granted, that's like saying he's the World's Tallest Midget, but still worth noting.
NC State ILB Nate Irving is a guy who is making his way up draft boards. He's probably a 3rd/4th round guy at this point.
With UConn, OLB Lawerence Wilson is the best NFL prospect they have, but he isn't much more than a 3rd round guy. Jr RB Jordan Todman is among the Top 5 rushers in the FBS.
