Jaguars LT Eugene Monroe OUT vs. Giants

The Jacksonville Jaguars will be without the services of their left tackle Eugene Monroe on Sunday against the New York Football Giants. Monroe apparently suffered a concussion against the Cleveland Browns and has been unable to practice all week long. Monroe failed his concussion test today and the team was hopeful he would be able to be cleared and play Sunday, but he has officially been ruled out for the game.

This will be a huge disadvantage for the Jaguars, going against one of the most feared pass rushing defensive lines in the NFL. If memory serves, the Giants have knocked out five quarterbacks this season. The Jaguars are already without right tackle Eben Britton. Britton has been replaced by Jordan Black, and it's unknown at this time who will replace Monroe on the left side. It will be either former Giant Guy Whimper or undrafted rookie Kevin Haslam. If it were up to me, I would play Kevin Haslam.
