Well we thought that Randy Moss was a nonfactor for the Jaguars, but this could turn into something interesting for the AFC South. ProFootballTalk is reporting that the Titans have put in a waiver claim for the big name receiver.
If this report is true, there are 20 teams that have a chance at filing a claim in front of the Titans and claiming Moss for themselves. The Seahawks have already made it publicly known that they will not file a claim for Moss, so scratch them off the list of 20, leaving 19. The Jaguars are among the 20 remaining teams that could file a claim ahead of the Titans, but I think we can all realistically rule that out as a possibility.
Stay tuned.
List of teams that could file a claim ahead of the Titans:
- Buffalo Bills
- Carolina Panthers
- Dallas Cowboys
- San Francisco 49ers
- Denver Broncos
- Detroit Lions
Minnesota Vikings- Cincinnati Bengals
- Cleveland Browns
- San Diego Chargers
- Arizona Cardinals
