Jaguars Maurice Jones-Drew 'doubtful' for Redskins

Maurice Jones-Drew once again missed practice today for the Jacksonville Jaguars, missing his third practice in a row. He is officially listed as doubtful for the game against the Washington Redskins. No player who has missed a Friday practice has played in the follow game on Sunday, but there is still a chance Jones-Drew could play. I mean, Brett Favre did go from listed as 'out' to starting.

It's possible however that Jones-Drew will be active, but not play much if at all. That would mean Rashad Jennings would likely get the start. The Redskins defense however, is pretty awful. They're 32nd against the pass and tied for 30th against the run. Even without Jones-Drew, the Jaguars should be able to run the ball with a combination of Jennings and rookie Deji Karim. Jennings has 319 rushing yards on the season with 3 touchdowns and a 6.8 yards per carry average.

Linebacker Justin Durant is also expected to miss another game. Receiver Mike Sims-Walker is listed as questionable and safety Courtney Greene is expected to return to the line-up, listed as probable. This would be the first game Jones-Drew has missed to injury if he doesn't play on Sunday.
